WAN (Wide Area Network)
Wide Area Network (WAN) is a computer network that covers a broad area (i.e., any network whose communications links cross metropolitan, regional, or national boundaries). Or, less formally, a network that uses routers and public communications links.

Web Browser
A Web browser is a software application that enables a user to display and interact with text, images, and other information typically located on a Web page at a Website on the World Wide Web or a local area network. Text and images on a Web page can contain hyperlinks to other Web pages at the same or different Website. Web browsers allow a user too quickly and easily access information provided on many Web pages at many Websites by traversing these links. Web browsers format HTML information for display, so the appearance of a Web page may differ between browsers.

Web Collaboration
Web collaboration is also known as distributed collaboration provides an organization with the capability to collaborate with clients or debtors in real-time via the Internet. Web collaboration packages generally consist of Web-based tools within Websites.

Web Server
The term Web server can mean one of two things:
1.   A computer that is responsible for accepting HTTP requests from clients, which are known as Web browsers, and serving them HTTP responses along with optional data contents, which usually are Web pages such as HTML documents and linked objects (images, etc.).
2.   A computer program that provides the functionality described in the first sense of the term.

Web Services
Web services is a software system designed to support interoperable Machine to Machine interaction over a network. Web services are frequently just Web APIs that can be accessed over a network, such as the Internet, and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services.

Wizard
A wizard is a utility within an application that helps you use the application to perform a particular task. For example, the “letter wizard” within the CollectOne software leads you through the steps of producing different types of correspondence.

Workstation
A workstation, such as a Windows workstation, is a high-end desktop or desk side microcomputer designed for technical applications. Workstations are intended primarily to be used by one person at a time, although they can usually also be accessed remotely by other users when necessary. Workstations are designed and optimized for situations requiring considerable computing power.
